I’m a Nottingham based photographer specialising in wedding photography. I have been lucky enough to work alongside some great photographers and I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to photograph some wonderful weddings.
why wedding photography
It keeps me on my toes. It keeps me searching. Meeting new people and capturing their genuine moments is a passion of mine and I am so honoured to live that passion in my day to day life.
Things I love.
- The great outdoors, if I'm honest I need my creature comforts and I'm not a fan of camping. Nevertheless, I adore the British countryside. I consider myself very lucky to be in such close proximity to the Peak-District and I'm always happy to come up with an excuse to travel to places like Snowdonia, the Lake District and Scotland.
- Old cameras, there is something a lot more tactile and romantic about the manual process of using a film camera. You can see that a lot of my commercial and personal work is still shot on film. I also always take my Nikon FE2 (pictured at the top of the page) away on any holidays or trips. It's incredibly impractical and kind of makes me look like a hipster, but that's the price you have to pay when being a camera geek. Also, one quick side note, the cameras and equipment I use for weddings are all up to date high-quality digital cameras.
- Last but not least my family, and that includes my black labrador Isabelle, who is a little nuisance, has terrible table manners and I'm mildly allergic to, but she's family so what can you do?
